Passing Strange
Talk Like Shakespeare Day!!
Yes, we did indeed read and discuss Shakespeare.
Yes, Ron did win the Silly Sonnet competition. (See his entry below)
Yes, we did have pizza and even birthday cake to celebrate The Bard of Avon’s 445th birthday.
And yes, you could say “’twas passing strange.” (Othello Act 1, scene 3)
But most of all it was a bunch of really cool folks hanging out and letting their minds breathe and be creative. Our special guest was JD’s wife Rebecca who had just finished a large Shakespeare assignment and brought actual literature with her. (JD brought the Ice Cream Cake, so we let him in too.) Jason also hit up his friend Gwen for Shakespeare quotes and we all passed them about reading with our awesome Bill masks on!
John Kilgore managed to read AND look good with his mask, so he won the “Coolest Dude Wearing a Mask Reading Shakespeare” award.
And even Index Finger Pete got to dress up in an Elizabethan Collar and pall around with crowd.

Digitize, Thy Must Digitize
Therein the Fun Lies.
My Mind filled with hollars and hoots
As I fill in Thine Attributes.
In my mind, a question I must say,
How much Impervious Surface,
In thy County lay?
