When my oldest son was sixteen and studying Shakespeare, he surprised me by quoting the Bard. I was on his case to clean up his room. He turned, looked down at me and said, without missing a beat, “Thou canst not say I did it! Shake not thy gory lock at me.” After I quit laughing, he went to his room and uncovered the floor.
